Sign up to become a World Vision Canada Youth Ambassador, and you could be selected to travel all expenses paid to Rwanda, Africa*. During this trip you’ll learn about the challenges of poverty, and how World Vision is working with people to overcome barriers. You'll also participate in a forum with young African leaders and help each other develop skills for global leadership.

Back in Canada, we want you to share your story and inspire other youth to speak out for change and fight poverty.

To apply you must be:

  • Passionate about global issues
  • Between the ages of 16–19
  • A participant in the 30 Hour Famine
  • Prepared to fill out an application, with personal references
  • Available for a telephone interview
  • Available to travel to Rwanda, Africa, for approximately two weeks in early July 2010, departing from Toronto, Ont.

    • After returning from Rwanda, you must be available to speak to the media and present at various World Vision events, including Youth Empowered and the 30 Hour Famine. You must also commit to participating on World Vision’s youth council and work to engage other youth year-round.
